What’s in your glass?  If it is anything from Donkey + Goat Winery, you need only look to your wine’s label to find all ingredients listed: “grapes and minimal sulphur”.  Jared and Tracey Brandt may have had a life before wine, but it’s hard for us to imagine it - they do what they do so well!  These gastronomic wines are alive; they tell the story of place without interruption by overwhelming oak, forced malo-lactic conversion, color additives or a heavy human hand.

“Donkey & Goat Winery is owned and operated by Jared & Tracey Brandt in Berkeley, California. We make “natural wines” which is a term that covers both the vineyard and the cellar. That is what distinguishes natural wine– the extension of natural farming philosophies that drive the practices for sustainable, natural & biodynamic farming into the cellar.”
